Morning & Evening
Recite after Fajr until sunrise
Morning Adhkar — Dua for the Morning
أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ ٱلْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ، وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ
We have entered the morning and the kingdom belongs to Allah; all praise is for Allah; there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner.
Recite after Asr until Maghrib
Evening Adhkar — Dua for the Evening
أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى ٱلْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ، وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ
We have entered the evening and the kingdom belongs to Allah; all praise is for Allah; there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner.
Daily Life
Recite before going to sleep
Dua Before Sleeping
بِٱسْمِكَ ٱللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.
Recite immediately upon waking

ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ ٱلنُّشُور
All praise is for Allah, who gave us life after taking it, and to Him is the resurrection.
Recite before starting a meal
Dua Before Eating
بِسْمِ ٱللَّه
In the name of Allah.
Recite after finishing a meal
Dua After Eating
ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي أَطْعَمَنِي هَذَا وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّة
All praise is for Allah, who fed me this and provided it for me without any might or power on my part.
After praying 2 rakahs of istikhara
Salat al-Istikhara — Dua for Decision Making
ٱللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَخِيرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ ٱلْعَظِيم
O Allah, I seek Your guidance through Your knowledge and I seek Your power through Your might, and I ask You from Your great bounty...
Recite before studying or seeking knowledge
Dua for Beneficial Knowledge
ٱللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and accepted deeds.
Family
Recite anytime, especially after prayer
Dua for Parents
رَبِّ ٱرْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
My Lord, have mercy upon them as they raised me when I was small.
Recite when seeking marriage
Dua for a Righteous Spouse
رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَٱجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
Our Lord, grant us from our spouses and offspring comfort to our eyes, and make us a leader for the righteous.
Recite for children, especially in pregnancy
Dua for Righteous Children
رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ ٱلصَّالِحِين
My Lord, grant me a righteous child.
Hardship
Recite during distress, anxiety, or grief
Dua for Anxiety and Sadness
ٱللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ ٱلْهَمِّ وَٱلْحَزَنِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ ٱلْعَجْزِ وَٱلْكَسَل
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sadness, and I seek refuge in You from weakness and laziness.
Recite when facing hardship or stress
Dua for Times of Difficulty
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ ٱلْحَلِيمُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْعَظِيم
There is no god but Allah, the Magnificent, the Forbearing. There is no god but Allah, Lord of the Magnificent Throne.
Recite for protection of self and family
Dua for Protection from the Evil Eye
أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلتَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَق
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.

Dua Entering the Mosque
ٱللَّهُمَّ ٱفْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِك
O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.
Recite when leaving the masjid

ٱللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِك
O Allah, I ask You for Your bounty.
Recite morning and evening
Dua for Forgiveness — Sayyidul Istighfar
ٱللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ
O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant...
Recite during the last 10 nights of Ramadan
Dua for Laylatul Qadr
ٱللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ ٱلْعَفْوَ فَٱعْفُ عَنِّي
O Allah, You are the One who pardons; You love to pardon, so pardon me.
