Dua for Beneficial Knowledge

Recite before studying or seeking knowledge

ٱللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا

Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman nafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbala

O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and accepted deeds.

Benefit and Reflection

The Prophet ﷺ would say this after the morning prayer. Knowledge is only good if it benefits — this dua asks for that filter.
