Dua Before Sleeping

Recite before going to sleep

بِٱسْمِكَ ٱللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا

Bismika Allahumma amutu wa ahya

In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.

Benefit and Reflection

The Prophet ﷺ used to say this every night before sleep. Sleep is a small death — this dua entrusts the soul to Allah.
