Dua Upon Waking Up

Recite immediately upon waking

ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ ٱلنُّشُور

Alhamdu lillahi-lladhi ahyana ba'da ma amatana wa ilayhi-n-nushur

All praise is for Allah, who gave us life after taking it, and to Him is the resurrection.

Benefit and Reflection

A reminder every morning that life itself is a gift returned to us. Death will come; resurrection is real.
